This year’s Waitangi Day event at Piritahi Marae was another incredible celebration of Aotearoa’s history, Māori cultural traditions and a thoughtful expression of community engagement.
Attended by several hundred people throughout the day from all age groups, backgrounds and walks of life, the sun shone brightly throughout the afternoon as organisers and attendees commemorated New Zealand’s history. • Richard Jones
