For Waiheke businesses, the first week of trading at Covid-19 level four was a mix of sudden closures, stress over murky guidelines and moves to home delivery.
Surfdale Fruit and Vege closed last Friday. Owner Panharith Duong was worried about the daily increase in Covid-19 cases and says it is safer to stay home. The shop will open again after lockdown is over. • Erin Johnson
