Bianca Ranson performed CPR last week on a elderly woman who had collapsed.

Waiheke woman Bianca Ranson probably saved another woman’s life after she performed CPR on her after she collapsed on Quay Street near the ferry terminal in Auckland on Friday.

At around 10.40 am, ferry passengers arriving in Auckland from Waiheke, saw the woman fall face-first onto the ground.

The woman, in her 70s, didn’t appear to be breathing, and another resident told Gulf News that Bianca virtually saved her life. • Sophie Boladeras
