Waiheke United Football Club celebrated a terrific season with its junior prizegiving at Waiheke High School. The island’s biggest sporting club fielded teams across all age grades except 15th this year. Many players are graduates of the club’s ‘Fun Football’ and ‘First Kicks’ (beginners) coaching programmes while some of the more experienced have caught the eye of the Waiheke senior team’s coaches. The club, in its 30th year, is thankful for the considerable support it enjoys from Fullers. •
