Illegally moored boats in Putiki Bay have mostly cleared out – but half a dozen owners have dug in and left vessels in the bay despite council warnings and fines.
Council compliance officers visited the bay again on Monday morning in an effort to move-on three boats still illegally on the shore off the Causeway and find the owners for another three that have been abandoned. • Richard Jones
