After the damage caused by the early-January storm, experts and residents are looking to the future, with climate change a real and foreseeable event.
Just before Christmas, the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) presented a report to Auckland Council which assesses the potential effects of climate change in the council area.
