The owner of a prominent waterfront property in Ostend has applied for consent to divert and discharge stormwater to the coastal marine area and to discharge contaminants.

The applicant is Waiheke developer Tony Pope and the site currently has consent to be used as a clean-fill site. • Erin Johnson
