The Waiheke Skate Competition is on for the third year in a row, all because one keen skateboarder is determined to keep the island skate park alive and thriving.
Unlike past years, the competition will not be held in December because of the high stress. It is instead planned for this Sunday 18 November from 11am to 3pm at the Waiheke Skate Park on Ostend Road.
