Waiheke Pharmacy has opened an online shop to help customers get the items they need while staying home during the lockdown period. Owner of Waiheke Pharmacy and pharmacist Judy Turnbull says customers can use the site to order repeat prescriptions, and although the basic online shop doesn’t have all the pharmacy items in it, customers can ask for anything else they need at the checkout stage of the transaction. “Anything peole want help on, we are helping with.” Judy says the online shopping portal had been planned for a while and was fast-tracked to help customers stay home during the lockdown. A team of volunteers are delivering orders to customers, she says. • Erin Johnson
