Performing arts troupe Kaleidoscope is closing after a long struggle with financial viability.
Founded by Kathy Ogletree in 1994 with just four students, Kaleidoscope grew to number over 130 dance and performing arts enthusiasts ranging in age from four to 94.

Apart from regular training, the club performed many popular shows at Artworks Theatre over the years; latest production Lights Out delighting audiences only last month.
However, morale took a blow earlier this year when floods severely damaged the club’s Tahi Road studios.

This Sunday’s Spiritual Cinema at Waiheke Community Cinema will accept donations to help the company recover costs.•
