Uma, the newest addition to the Garcia Dinerstein family, was born suddenly in the disabled bathroom on a ferry travelling to Auckland on Saturday. Today, however, surrounded by her big brothers Salo, age seven, and two-year-old Tahiel, she rests peacefully in her mother’s arms in their family kitchen oblivious to the fact that her story has been recounted by news media around the world, including the couple’s native Argentina. • Sophie Boladeras
